To celebrate hackerspace.gent and the hacker community once a year, we organize the "Newline" hacker conference. A newline character marks the end of a line and moves the cursor to the next one. It's a sign of progress and it gives you a whole new line to be filled. Let's join for some short accessible talks, warm food, cold beer, and Club Mate.

The Stage Is Yours!

Newline is an open stage for anyone with a story to tell. Whether it's about technology, a creative hack, or something completely unexpected, we want to hear it. Previous topics include: Generating fake QR codes to get extra fancy IKEA milkshakes, the everyday life of someone who drinks 20(!) cups of coffee, and how open-source licensing helped push major tech companies to play fair.

If you've found a clever trick, explored a niche topic, or just have an experience worth sharing, now's your chance. We provide the space, the audience, and a great atmosphere—just bring your talk. Want to participate?
